The LH-66 Lens Hood from Olympus is a replacement for the identical hood included with your 12-40mm f/2.8 Micro Four Thirds lens. It prevents unwanted stray light from entering the lens by extending beyond and shading its front element. Additionally, it offers some extra protection against impact.
