The Synco Mic-M2S is a camera-mount microphone specifically designed for outdoor use and well suited for vlogs, YouTube, TikTok, and similar video applications. The mic features a rugged, yet lightweight, metal chassis and a switchable high-pass filter to reduce low-frequency rumble and wind noise.
The Mic-M2S can operate for up to 100 hours on a single AAA battery and includes a silicon rubber shockmount that isolates the mic from handling noise. The shockmount features both a cold shoe mount and a 1/4"-20 threaded hole for mounting to cameras, stands, and boompoles.
The capsule's cardioid polar pattern focuses audio capture in front of the microphone for less background sound, resulting in improved audio quality for your videos, especially when compared to the omnidirectional mic built into a camera or phone.
An LED indicator glows green when the mic is powered on and blue when the 100 Hz low-cut filter is engaged. The foam windscreen helps to reduce wind noise, and two 3.5mm connecting cables are also included: a TRRS cable for smartphone use and a TRS cable for camera use. A carry pouch is also supplied to hold the mic and accessories.
