With its fascinating 2:1 maximum magnification capability and focus to infinity, the lens can capture subjects of any size, making it versatile for different applications, including macro, commercial, and portrait photography. It is super compact and lightweight, and the size of the lens is significantly smaller than other equivalents on the market. An apochromatic (APO) characteristic is equipped even in high magnification to provide outstanding image quality. Takes 67mm filters

The Apochromat APO Design offers great image quality, minimising Chromatic Aberration (CA) at both in-focus & out-of-focus areas, purple fringing and ghosting are controlled to minimum, and maximising contrast at all apertures. The Laowa 90mm is a full manual focus, and manual aperture lens, with no electrical connections or communication between the lens and body.

The Laowa 90mm f/2.8 2X Macro APO Lens is specifically designed for shorter flange distance in mirrorless camera systems. With robust construction in a lightweight and compact design. The lens is only 619g with the dimensions of 74mm diameter x 120mm length, making it one of the smallest compared to the equivalent lenses in the market. The internal focusing design keeps the lens constant and helps avoid collision of the lens with the subject when focussing. It also helps prevent dust and dirt ingress into the lens.

Optical construction is 13 elements in 10 groups with 3 extra-low dispersion elements provide high optical quality. Outstanding image quality is maintained from corner to corner. The lens has 13 aperture blades, to help create pleasing and soft round bokeh.
