The Macro APO-Ultron 35mm f/2 Lens for FUJIFILM X-Mount by Voigtlander has been exclusively designed for the Fujifilm APS-C sensor. The focal length corresponds to about 53mm on FUJIFILM APS-C cameras, offering both a popular and universal standard focal length.

The lens configuration consists of nine elements in six groups, using three elements of glass with anomalous partial dispersion. A special feature is the minimum focus distance of just 6.41", which gives an image scale 1:2, with a working distance of 2.36" to the subject with the lens hood attached.

In addition to the natural color reproduction from the apochromatic design, the lens has a maximum aperture of f/2. A front focusing system is used, in which the four front groups are moved together, which means that the extension length when focusing remains small.

This lens is also equipped with electronic contacts that ensure reliable communication between the lens and the camera body. Functions such as the sharpness check, the display of the shooting distance, and parallax correction on certain models are supported.
