Kipon Exacta Mount

I use vintage lenses on a Fuji X system. I prefer M42 mounts as they are very reliable. Occasionally I have to settle for Exacta mounts. I have had trouble with the locking mechanism of some third party Exacta adaptors. I chose the Kipon for its quality. I paid a bit more but that is the price of quality. The Kipon adaptor fits precisely on my Carl Zeiss Biotar with a secure catch on the locking mechanism. I will be buying more of my adapters there.
This adapter is by far the best

First I would like to thank Adorama for importing this adapter. I have tried a few others (Leica R lens to Fuji X mount), and although the Kipon was more expensive it is worth the cost. The problem with the less expensive adapters is the locating pin for the lens. This pin is too small on the other adapters which means when you go to focus (or adjust the f-stop) the lens will move laterally. Not a big deal, but it is very annoying. The KIPON M42-FX adapter mounts M42 series screw lenses on Fuji X series mirrorless camera bodies. Please note that after mounting the adapter only manual focus will be accessible when shooting. There is a inner ring on the adapter which presses against the pin on the lens to allow the lens to control the aperture. Please note that lenses with extra long pins can not be mounted with this adapter.
